Who do you know that I can help?

If you know a business owner or decision maker who spends hours on the same tasks every week, like paperwork or following up with customers, I'd be grateful for an introduction.

If they hire me, I'll thank you with a 15% referral fee.

How it worksAsk them first, then introduce us.Start a group text, send an email that connects us, or send me their name and number.

I handle everything after that. The first call is free. You don't need to sell, follow up, or join any calls.

I pay you after the business pays me.Within 5 business days after each payment clears, I send you 15% with a note that shows the math.

About me

I'm Dereck Johnson, and I build AI agents and automations that handle repetitive work for small businesses.

I've run my own businesses since 2015, starting with a guitar school in Oklahoma City that I founded and ran for close to a decade. I've built automations for other businesses since 2018, and for the last three years, that work has included AI.

My company is Advanced Lead Solutions LLC. My family moved to Simpsonville, South Carolina, in 2025, and I work with businesses anywhere.

You're welcome to call or text me before you introduce anyone. Text Dereck

Who I'd like to help

Small businesses with more work than staff, like these.

  • Home services and trades
  • Dental and medical offices
  • Law, accounting, and insurance
  • Schools, studios, and coaching
  • Real estate
  • Restaurants and retail
  • Something else

If a business you know shows some of these signs, I may be able to help.

Select the type of business you're connected to to see some signs that they might need my help.

    • Calls and quote requests go unanswered while they're out on jobs.
    • They spend part of every day on the same office tasks.
    • Estimates go out, and nobody follows up.

I've set up my AI follow-up service for home services and trades companies, including a roofing company.

    • The front desk chases patients for forms and insurance details before visits.
    • Patients say they'll think about a treatment, and many never schedule it.
    • Patients who are overdue for a visit don't hear from the office.

I've set up my AI follow-up service for a dental implant practice.

    • In busy season, they remind clients about the same missing documents over and over.
    • Someone checks long documents against a checklist by hand.
    • Clients keep asking where their case or tax return stands.

Professional services companies were among the more than 50 companies I set up my AI follow-up service for.

    • Teachers spend extra time on attendance and practice notes after class.
    • Rescheduling a missed lesson takes several back-and-forth texts.
    • Families ask about lessons, and nobody has time to follow up.

I built an AI teacher's assistant for a music school.

    • Collecting documents from buyers and sellers takes reminder after reminder.
    • People sign in at open houses and never hear back.
    • Past clients haven't heard from them in a long time.

Real estate companies were among the more than 50 companies I set up my AI follow-up service for.

    • Someone copies sales or order numbers into a spreadsheet by hand each week.
    • Job applicants wait days to hear back and take a job somewhere else.
    • Catering and large-order requests sit until the owner has time to answer.

    • Someone copies details from emails into a spreadsheet by hand.
    • Every new client means the same emails, forms, and reminders, done one at a time.
    • Paperwork from customers or vendors takes several reminders to collect.

Examples of problems I solve

  1. Chasing clients for documents?

I'll build an AI agent that reaches out consistently until you've got everything you need.

  2. Missing calls while you're on a job?

I'll build an AI agent that texts each caller back right away, answers their questions, and books the appointment.

  3. Answering the same questions all day?

I'll build an AI agent that learns from your past emails and answers those questions for you, day or night.

  4. Copying information from emails into spreadsheets by hand?

I'll build an automation that does the copying for you.

It's fine if you know a manager or an executive there rather than the owner.

You don't need to own a business to introduce one. Friends, neighbors, and church members make good introductions, and so do people who work with business owners, like bookkeepers, insurance agents, and IT providers.

  • If I'm not the right fit, I tell them, and I tell you.

Have a question?

Text me if you'd like to talk it through first. I can also help you word the introduction.

The fine print

The terms in plain words
  1. You earn 15% of what the business pays me for my work during the 12 months after its first payment.
  2. I pay you within 5 business days after each payment clears, by bank transfer or check.
  3. Sales tax isn't counted, and neither are software, ad spend, or texting charges that I pass through at cost.
  4. If a payment is refunded or reversed, the 15% on that amount comes out of your next payment.
  5. An introduction counts when you connect us before I've talked with that business about a project, and the business first pays me within 12 months of your introduction. I confirm each one in writing within 5 business days. If two people introduce the same business, the first introduction I receive counts.
  6. Ask the owner before you connect us, and only introduce people you know. Send each message yourself, to one person at a time, between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. their time. Don't use mass texts, group posts, bought lists, or automated tools. If anyone says no or asks you to stop, stop and let me know.
  7. In your first message to each person, tell them that I pay you a referral fee if they hire me. Put it in the message itself, not in a link or a later message.
  8. You don't quote prices, promise results, or agree to anything for me. I set the scope and price with the business.
  9. You're paid only for businesses you introduce. You aren't paid for businesses they introduce later, or for signing up other referrers.
  10. Being introduced never raises a business's price. The fee comes out of what I'm paid.
  11. If you'd rather not take a fee, you can refer with no fee, or I can take 15% off the business's first project instead.
  12. If you work for the business you introduce and help choose its vendors, I can pay you only if your employer agrees in writing first. If you work for a government agency, I can't pay you for introducing that agency or its buyers.
  13. I need a W-9 before your first payment. You'll get a Form 1099-NEC if I pay you $2,000 or more in a calendar year.
  14. We both sign a short written agreement with these terms before your first payment.

Questions people ask
Do I pay anything?

No. There's nothing to buy, no sign-up fee, and nothing to purchase later. If anyone ever asks you for money to take part, it isn't me.

Do I have to sell?

No. Tell them what you know about me and introduce us. I handle the conversation, the plan, and the price. Please don't quote prices or promise results for me.

Do I have to recruit anyone?

No. There are no levels and no pay for signing up other people. You're paid only on work that a business you introduced pays me to do.

When and how am I paid?

Within 5 business days after each payment from that business clears, by bank transfer or check. Each payment comes with a short note showing what the business paid and your 15%.

Does being introduced raise the business's price?

No. A business pays the same price whether or not someone introduced them. The referral fee comes out of what I'm paid.

I'd rather not take money for introducing a friend. Is that OK?

Of course. I can take 15% off their first project instead, or you can just introduce us.

Do I need to tell my contact I'm paid?

Yes, please, in your first message to them. One or two sentences is enough, such as "Just so you know, Dereck pays me a referral fee if you hire him. I'm introducing you because I think he can help with [the specific thing], and his first call is free." People weigh a recommendation differently when money is involved, so I'd rather they hear it from you up front.

How long does the 15% last?

For the 12 months after the business's first payment to me. That covers the first project and any monthly fee during that first year.

What counts as an introduction?

First, ask the owner whether it's OK to connect us. After they say yes, any of these counts, as long as I haven't already talked with that business about a project.

  • A group text with both of us
  • An email that connects us
  • Their name and number sent to me

The business has to make its first payment to me within 12 months of your introduction. I confirm each introduction in writing within 5 business days. If two people introduce the same business, the first one I receive counts.

What if the business doesn't hire me?

Then nobody owes anything. If a business gets a refund later, the 15% on the refunded amount comes out of your next payment. If no more payments are coming, I'll ask you to pay it back.

Do I get a 1099?

If I pay you $2,000 or more in a calendar year, yes. That is the IRS amount for payments made in 2026, and the IRS may adjust it for inflation starting in 2027. I'll send the Form 1099-NEC by the IRS deadline. Before your first payment I'll ask for a W-9. If I don't have a valid W-9, I hold your payment until I do, or withhold 24% for the IRS when the law requires it. Referral fees are taxable income either way, so keep your own records too.

I'm a CPA, attorney, insurance agent, real estate agent, or financial advisor. Can I take the fee?

Check your profession's rules and your firm's policy first. Some limit or forbid referral fees, and some require you to tell your client in writing. If a fee doesn't fit your rules, you can refer with no fee, or I can take 15% off the business's first project instead, if your rules allow that.

I work for the business I want to introduce. Can I take the fee?

If you help choose vendors for that business, I can pay you only if your employer agrees in writing first. If you work for a government agency, I can't pay you for introducing that agency or its buyers.

When did this start?

I opened this offer to the public in October 2026. Before that, I set up referral arrangements one at a time with people I know.

Who's behind this?

Advanced Lead Solutions LLC is a South Carolina company, and I own it. I've built automations for businesses since 2018. You're welcome to call or text me before you introduce anyone.
